Currently Reading…

Paint My Body Red by Heidi R. Kling

So far, I’m mostly enjoying this book. The narrator was a little annoying to begin with, but has since gotten a lot more bearable. The premise is quite interesting, and the way the book is written makes it easy to read. This book reminds me a little of Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, in that it hints at something big that happened recently, and slowly reveals bit of information as the book goes on. I’m about half way through at the moment, and I’m feeling good about the rest of the story.

Recently Finished…

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I loved this book so much! Even though there was a lot of hype for the book, the description didn’t really sound that appealing to me, so I had mixed expectations. It’s fair to say they were thoroughly exceeded! You can find my review here.
This was the only book I finished over the past week, because I had no time to read over the weekend, which saddens me greatly.

Reading Next…

The Assassin’s Blade and Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

I have these two books waiting to be picked up at the library. As soon as I finish the book I’m reading now, I will be all over them! I’ve heard that the ToG series gets better as it goes on, so I’m extra excited to read one. Also, from what I understand, The Assassin’s Blade is a collection of prequel novella’s, so that should be really exciting.
